Course Prerequisites: Logo Design Theory – For Beginners
This course offers a comprehensive overview of the effective use of Typography and colours as they apply to logo design. Students will earn several concepts that can be applied in modern logos to help achieve mainstream brand recognition. This course covers key terms, typeface hierarchy, forbidden fonts, font resources, and much more.
In the second section of course students are introduced to Font Colour, and the interpretation of Color as a mechanism of brand differentiation. Students will also learn about colour spaces, and effective usage of different colour schemes in logo design.
